1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the YieldMind platform, website (yieldmind.dev), mobile applications, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. YieldMind Inc. ("Company," "we," "us") provides the Service subject to your compliance with these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
YieldMind is a precision agriculture analytics platform that processes satellite imagery, soil sensor data, and weather information to provide crop health monitoring, yield predictions, irrigation scheduling, and input optimization recommendations. The Service is intended for use by farmers, agronomists, agricultural cooperatives, and related professionals. Recommendations provided by the platform are decision-support tools and do not constitute professional agronomic advice.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. YieldMind Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscription and Payment
Access to the Service requires a paid subscription based on enrolled acreage. Pricing is published on our website and may be updated with 30 days' notice. Subscriptions are billed annually or monthly as selected. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access to the Service.
5. Data and Content
You retain ownership of all field data, sensor readings, and operational information you upload to the Service ("Your Data"). By using the Service, you grant YieldMind Inc. a limited license to process Your Data solely to provide and improve the Service. We may use anonymized, aggregated data for research and product improvement purposes. We will not sell Your Data to third parties.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service provides analytical tools and recommendations based on available data. YieldMind Inc. does not guarantee the accuracy of yield predictions, crop health assessments, or any other outputs. Agricultural outcomes depend on numerous factors beyond the scope of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, YieldMind Inc. shall not be liable for crop losses, reduced yields, or other damages arising from reliance on the Service.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Iowa, USA.
Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, farm or organization name, field boundaries, and operational data. We also collect data from connected sensors, satellite imagery providers, and weather services. Technical data such as device type, IP address, and usage patterns is collected automatically when you use the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide the Service, including generating crop health maps, yield predictions, and prescriptions. We use contact information for account management, support, and service-related communications. Anonymized and aggregated data may be used to improve our models and develop new features.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal or field data. We may share data with: satellite imagery providers (field boundaries only, to task imagery); sensor hardware partners (for integration purposes); service providers who assist in operating the platform; and law enforcement when required by law. All third-party processors are bound by data protection agreements.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for backup and compliance purposes. Historical field data is retained to support multi-season trend analysis. You may request deletion of your data by contacting privacy@yieldmind.dev.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may export your field data at any time through the platform. To exercise these rights or for any privacy-related inquiries, contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@yieldmind.dev.
